Looking for a motherboard for my I5 setup. I'm down to these two boards and can't decide.

I've been a huge gigabyte fan for quite some time, which makes me still lean that way-

But I may be able to get this MSI for about the same price-

So which will be better?

My setup will be used mostly for gaming. I'll have the I5 at hopefully above 4ghz, 2x2gb of G.skil Trident ddr3-2000 ram, and a single gtx260 for now. Possible SLI in the future if I need too, but right now a gtx260 is plenty for me as I only game at 1920x1080. Thoughts? Advice? Find a better board for under $170 than these two? I'm listening!!! haha thanks

I would go Gigabyte, they have a great reputation and I've had no problems with my UD3P.

If you can add $15 to the budget you might want to look at the GA-P55A-UD4P. It has SATA 3 and USB 3.0, and $15 would be a good investment for future devices with those interfaces.

Thanks, I agree about gigabyte I simply think they are the best motherboard manufacturers period.

I thought about that board, but if I do go SLI it will be pointless. I kinda figure by the time anything really NEEDS sata and USB 3.0, I will be upgrading my setup again! lol
