just wondering the best way to check your RAM mhz outside of bios

my bios is so god dam fast, you can barely read out of the list of like 5 keys to press for different reasons, im not a fan or shutting down and restarting 10 times to figure it out (just not cumfortable with that)

i got a Asus Rampage II mobo its normal at DDR3 1333mhz oc to 1600 or 2000

my ram is 6gig corsair 1600 mhz, i just want to check that the store i bought it off, hooked it up to run at 1600 or that its only running at 1333mhz.

thanks

i read the stickies but most of them all talk about reliability and not actual speed, ive heard sisoft sandra is good but difficult to use?

CPUz shows it under the memory tab. :)

i worked it out with the sisoft sandra tool

my Asus Rampage II gene is default at 1333mhz DDR3. so my 1600 mhz ram is running at 1334

the website says you can run 1600 1800 and 2000 mhz DDR3 O.C now i guess i need to find out where to do this. i cant really gind any stickys on this website

i dont want **** hand fed to me, but i need a pointed direction

Change the 'OC From Memory Level Up' option from AUTO to DDR3-1600MHz. So w/ a default BCLK of 133MHz and 2:12 DRAM ratio, the effective DRAM frequency comes out to 1596MHz. The AUTO setting uses a 2:10 DRAM ratio, which equates to a 1333MHz DRAM frequency.
