Ok I've tried a million things including reinstalling windows 3 times tonight. I put my diamond viper in and it works fine so i know the motherboard is good.
ok heres the deal. i installed windows with the radeon 7500 in and it goes through fine. windows boots up with 16 colors. i tried three different orders of installation and everytime i installed the radeon drivers it killed my system and the radeon would not boot past the windows 2000 logo. the screen would just go black and the hard drives stopped loading.
so i was like DAMN!

and then after going insane i put in my old diamond viper and low and behold it works fine.
help me out here im going insane. is there anything i can do or should i sell the radeon and get something else.

heres my other system specs
2 1000EB p3 processors, 1 gig or ram, vp6
plextor 16,10,40 cdrw ide1
iomega zip 250 ide1
3.5 floppy
aureal soundcard
ibm 20 gig 75gxp ata 100 set to master ide0
wd 13 gig ata 66 set to slave ide0
antec 300w psu
it works just fine with the viper (TNT2 16mg) card
