TNT2 driver freezing

Hi,
Recently I installed my TNT 2 m64 card and installed the drivers that came with it. All games work perfectly so far. But when I tried updating the drivers, games freeze before running them causing me to restart. The way I updated was through Nvidia's update program thingy. Does anyone recommend trying a specific driver that should work?

Goto the Asus site and download the latest 23.12 drivers. These are Microsoft certified (or digitally signed, whatever) and aren't even posted at nVidia themselfves yet!? They work great for me on TNT2 (M64 and 128bit) and GeForce2-MX cards.

my experance is it just did this in D3d , going to Xp fixed this problem and gave me more proformance

d3d still dosent work in UT but works in all other games
