View Full Version : 50$ Walmart giftcard for Wii purchase
WalMart is giving 50$ gift cards for all Wii purchases until 12/12. I suppose you can just return it and keep the gift card.

i think you have to use the card on the purchase of the wii or you will have to give the 50 dollar card back on returning the system. That would be way to easy to just return it over and over and get the wii for free.

I bought the Wii today with $50 GC. now Can I go to a different store and return it?
Do I need to return with a receipt or without it. The $50 GC transaction is mentioned in the Receipt. Doesn't it mean they will deduct $50 from the final price while refunding the money.

I hate to break it yo you guys but what you are suggesting is basically theft. If you're going to do it I wouldn't be talking about it.
It's not our fault if they don't want their gift card back when we decide we need to pay the bills rather than play our Wiis
Ya I'm not stealing anything when they give it to me so whatever ......

Very astute statement, damarble. And just reading this thread has me about a couple of clicks away from setting a few members posting in this thread to permanent No Classifieds too. I haven't made my mind up about that yet, but it's leaning that way as I can't stand a person who eggs on someone to willingly defraud a store, be it Walmart or anyone else. Stealing is stealing, whether it's from Walmart or a member here in the Classifieds and in my book anyone who will steal from a store will also steal from fellow members here if they think they could get away with it.
BTW, I am now closing this thread because of the talk of defrauding Walmart too. :argue:
