what tool would be best for cutting up heat sinks. I want to add heat sinks on to my memory on my 7500 but I dont want to spend $30 on the tin coated ramsinks I see on all the sites. So instead I want to cut up the thermaltake passive memory cooler heatsinks and use those. How would I go about doing that?

Hacksaw, elbow greese, and a file or sandpaper to clean up the burrs and sharp edges. Preferably use a bench vise to hold it still for ya.

I have always used a Dremel with a fiber reinforced cutting wheel. I suppose a power hack saw would be my first choice.

I used a hacksaw.. works great, just takes awhile..

but not as long as the case window vs dremel.. wow
