View Full Version : 4890 or 5770?
My monitor is 1920x1080.
4890 = $195
5770 = $165
I want to be able to max out Modern Warfare 2, BFBC2, Mass Effect (and Mass Effect 2) at that resolution.
Is the difference in performance between the 4890 and 5770 worth $30?

The 4890 is quite a bit quicker, but also runs very hot. The 5770 is a bit slower but has directX11 and runs MUCH cooler.
I don't know how much quicker it is overclocked though

I won't be overclocking. With that in mind what would you recommend?

HD4890 has more horsepower, so I would go with that.
