I have been looking for this answer all over without any TRUE answer of anyone actually making this happen.
A blu-ray drive, in a HTPC using a HDMI video card / and or a ASUS sound card using HDMI outputting TrueHD that can be decoded BY a seperate receiver and not down-sampled.
Everyone is complaining about DRM not allowing this, or no audio card allowing this, etc etc.
Is it possible for the video card to output this? Or does it have to happen with one of those asus sound cards?
Here is an old post of people trying this:

I would love to build a HTPC but you can't beat the PS3 right now since its doing exactly what I want to do. But personally i'm anti ps3, and I would love to use a nice HTPC instead!
