I wish to make a Half Life mod by myself and before doing it, I want to ask some questions
1, Which programming language is used in the making of this mods?
2, Where can I find the original script for Half Life and CS?
3, If I want to make new models and map, which program should I use to make them?
4, Any tutorials online about this things?
5, Which programs should be equipped with my PC in order to do the job
Note to Moderators: If this thing has not much reply, can you move to programming section please
1, Which programming language is used in the making of this mods?
C/C++
2, Where can I find the original script for Half Life and CS?
Original script? You mean the original code? Valve doesn't give out all the code, but they give out the parts necessary for mod making. Go find their SDK.
3, If I want to make new models and map, which program should I use to make them?
People seem to generally use milkshape or 3dsmax for the models, and worldcraft for the maps.
4, Any tutorials online about this things?
Probably.
5, Which programs should be equipped with my PC in order to do the job
I think the SDK is based around MS Visual C++, but you can probably use other stuff too.
