I have an Athlon XP 1800+ @ 1.75GHz with a Hercules 3D Prophet III GeForce3 at stock speeds... below is a link to my 3DMark2001 score, is this low for this setup?

I would say it is pretty normal, pehaps just a tad low....if you forgot to close down any icons in your sys tray that would explain it:) You might want to try different drivers too!
Only thing running was MBM5... I tried 27.10 drivers, didn't see an increase in 3DMark2001 scores... :eh?:

THANKS ALOT  lol

Is that a regular geforce 3 or a ti500, ti 200. I have a ti500 with close to your setup. Check it out here (http://service.madonion.com/servlet/Index?pageid=/orb/projectcompare&projectType=6&projectId=2598535). Im only pushing 149FSB and 1.714 Ghz. I have also had a 1ghz system pushing 7200( around there) with a Geforce 3(elsa Gladiac 900). I would say you could push that score up alittle. Also in my benches I have running: Morpheus, 3-deep, MBM5, Monitor Expertool, Norton Antivirus, Fastcheck HD monitor. And don't see a drop in my scores, so MBM5 shouldn't be affecting yours.

Nice run, but do you think that Intel chip is going to hit 166FSB?
Good luck on it. SHould be able to hopefully hit around 9500. But I wouldn't expect much more outta it. SHould go with a new AMD 2200 when it hits. My 1900 prob. hits higher than a 2.2Ghz Intel. Definite. higher than the 2Ghz

Uh well if you look at it the FSB is at 133 and the CPU is a 1900xp which is shown at 1596. I didn't OC it. And the Card is a Gainward Ti550 running at 250/550 in Golden Sample mode. So uh yeah I didn't OC it at all. The score with the OC is Here. (http://service.madonion.com/servlet/Index?pageid=/orb/projectcompare&projectType=6&projectId=2597018) Although good it could be better. I just don't want to push my system to far. I actually turned it down after this test and it now runs around 9100. I can't help it if I built a very good system. Anywho have fun. And always have a nice day.
Have you seen my dawg round here?

Gainward Ti550 running at 250/550 in Golden Sample mode
that's overclocked no matter how you look at it, we can all run ours with a simple bios flash at that speed and score that way, so i guess technically you're right, but downclock and you've got a stock speed. gainward GS cards aren't stock cards, they give them a flashy name and flash them to an overclocked speed, kinda the same trick as OCZ did with the Titan series of cards way back when.

Yes it is clocked higher than most, but not by my doing. I turned it down for you guys and still hit 8330 at the regular 240/500 mark. SO it doesn't matter. My card isnt' OC default straight from the box as Gainward shipped it. What they did is what they did. They could have OC it to 400/900 and it would still be default no OC by me. So whatever scores I get would be the cards default no OC scores. Right???
