i would like to know if some of you have the same feeling about this...
1)
a voodoo card was able to deliver a "smooth" or rather slightly "blurry" picture which was, in my opinion, a nicer picture to view at compared to a nvidia card ( which delivers a rather sharp image ).
i own a geforce 1 and a (rather old) phillips 15" TFT monitor and would like to have that voodoo-" blur" back again.
is it possible to deliver that voodoo-"blur" on a TFT?
if so, which video card can deliver me this voodoo-"blur" effekt back? ( besides a voodoo )

thx for ne answers

the blur is actually caused by your screen i betcha- is it an LCD for a desktop, or a TFT built into a laptop? Whichever, it is a downside to the way that kind of screen works, you are the first person I hear from who likes it:)

A better video card should have less blur, due to it's sharper picture signal. To get more blur, you would need an older card I guess. Or, turn down your refresh rate on your screen.:D

yes i mean smoothness.
a mean the typical difference when you see a screen with a voodoo and a screen u see with a nvidia chip.
do u know what i mean?
i would like to know what card can deliver this voodoo-image-like picture? radeon?

I had a voodoo3 for a long time, loved it. It was sharp as heck in 2D, the destop looked just awesome, while in 3D it was kinda smeared and blurry. The 3D picture was not very sharp, but it was very smooth motion. If that is what you like, then go for a V3! Or better yet a voodoo5.

The newer nVidia chips look just as good in 2D and even better in 3D, IMHO. But, if you want to be safe, everyone says the Radeons have the best picture quality. I don't have one so I am just going on heresay here.
