Ok, I got it in the mail last night from Computer Geeks. My question is, if I want to monitor the temp of my MPU and GPU, do I have to take the fans and heatsinks off the chip first? Is there another way I can monitor the temps of these?

The best way is to slide one of the thin temp probes between your heatsink and processor while it's all still attached. Just make sure the probe is contacting the side of the core. THat's how I did it. Then I ran the wire up the side of the heatsink and electrical taped it to the fan on the heatsink. I did pretty much the same thing on my video card. I cut off the extra flap of yellow plastic around the top of the thermal probes, so I can get it real close to the core, and get really accurate temps.
