SLI troubles

first off, sorry if this thread doesnt go here

i've done SLI before on my old rig and had no probs whatso ever. But on my current rig SLI gives either minimal performace increase or insane decrease.

example:
1x 8800GTS on CS:source 250+ fps
2x 8800GTS SLI'd on CS:source 180+ fps

settings all seem good so i dont know what's going on. any ideas?

SLI wont aways give you better FPS.What res ae you running?You can try evga sli patch also

1 card: ~11500
SLI: ~14900

Yep i get the samething when i ran my GTX 260's in SLI mode.But some games just didnt work as well in SLI and i got slightly lower frame rates.I run the same res.If we ran 1920x1200 sli would get better FPS than one card.You can try make a an SLI profile for the game it may help

I also had this problem, however, it was driver related. The newest driver's reduced my SLI fps significantly. I rolled back to the 186.18 driver's, and everything went back to normal. So, what driver's are you using?
