Anything I can do????

I accidently installed Tomato regular instead of Tomato ND. ND is the version for the WL520GU. Now all the lights work and it looks like it is working, but I cannot connect to it.

I've tried to restore the firmware, putting into recovery mode with the blinking light, then manually setting my PC to 192.168.1.10 and 255.255.255.0 connected to LAN1 to my PC... and it didn't work. It said Searching IP addresses forever.

I don't know what to do now. I read up on things for the 9 pin trick but they're not for the 520GU. Not sure if I should try it.

Please help me

so you installed unsupported firmware on the device and can't undo it?

Have you tried calling the manufacturer to see if they have a solution? If they don't have one, then you likely will have to buy a new router.

Those are the risks you take when you do something unsupported by the hardware manufacturer.

What was searching for IP addresses when it was in recovery mode? The Asus flash utility? You could try tftp if the utility isn't working for you, you still need the router in recovery mode I believe.
