Looking for an i7 1156 mobo (update: looking for overclocking help)
I've got an i7 860 cpu and I'm looking for a mobo to go with it that will give me the biggest bang for the buck when it comes to overclocking.
I'm looking at the budget level so preferably less than $150 (more like $140). After researching I initially was looking at the gigabyte p55m ud2 but then read that some people were having issues with the board dieing while overclocking. So then I started looking at the new gigabyte p55a ud3 but then I saw overclockers.com buying guide and they recommended the biostar T5 XE CFX-SLI and now I am confused.
Let me clarify my needs first:
I will be using a 4670 level video card (no gaming)
on board audio a must
I have a new intel ssd x25m
mobo form factor doesn't matter
What would you guys recommend?
And lastly, I'm looking at the gskill ripjaw series memory, either 1333 or 1600, any preference for my setup?
Thanks!
