I have a headset lined up, but which card has the better headphone amp?

For headphones, I would recommend the Asus Xonar Essence STX.

It is a true Audiophile card.

Good choice of headphones btw :D

That card looks really nice, thanks. The only issue I have is it's interface. I'd have to put it between two OCed graphics cards with custom coolers. I doubt it would cause airflow problems, but I'll do some experimenting to make sure. I have an old card around somewhere I could put in and run some temp tests.

I have the HT Omega Claro and I love it. I have a pair of Grado SR-80's but I rarely use the internal headphone amp. I use the RCA analog out to connect to my receiver and hook up my headphones through that. The Omega card sounds great either way :)
