New Idea for GTA

Why hasnt Rockstar made a GTA game that takes place on the US - Mexican Border? The drug war down there is some amazingly horrific. I listened to a few documentaries today at work (slow week, seeing as how everyone is gone out of the office) but I was thinking what a great scenario.

Anyways, does anyone know of a game coming out that takes place with this type of locale?

That locale specifically I don't know. But if you want to fun tactical combat Modern Warfare 2 is a blast.

I'm a huge GTA fan and I'm always curious to see where they go next. They've done east coast and west coast, and I don't think they'll do the mid-west. ;) Maybe Florida Area? Chicago?

Well Mafia was kinda like GTA in the 20's. What im proposing is that they goto the real war on Drugs right at our border. Neavo Laredo/ Laredo Texas, the Juarez/Tijuana/Sinola Cartels fighting eachother for control of the drug trade. Soo many things they can incorporate in a GTA game. Human Traffiking? Got it. Killing opposing gang members via different levels of brutality like The Punisher? Check! Off road action, outrunning the DEA and Mexican authority in the middle of a desert? Check!!! OMG, i hope ;they are listening.

Unfortunately, it will probably take place in Europe or something, involving France and ecstasy shipments or something lame. I can hope though!
