Well,
Seems like i will finally get to play some ps3 games, ordered my ps3 slim 120gb from amazon with 3 games with next day shipping came out to $450.00 for me. Should come on Christmas Eve or before. Nice Present for me i think ^_^
Everywhere seem to be sold out in stores over here of 120gb, everyone selling 250gb ones =|
Got uncharted 2, Killzone 2, and Metal Gear Solid 4.
those 3 games so far, most likely get little big planet and idk what else yet.
really wanted the ps3 just for god of war 3 and heavy rain :D
anyone recommend a must play game, hopefully just ps3 exclusive since i have most game on my 360
Uncharted (1) and LBP for sure.

look up Demon's Souls!!!!!
one of the best games I've played in a good while. It's pretty damn hard too. It's not the stupidly impossible hard like some NES games. But they make you actually work to progress through the game.
Look it up, If you think you may like the style...BUY IT. I have yet to have a single person try it, and not instantly love it. ( well, old school gamers love it the most. Reminds them of the old NES / SNES games that were hard, and required a working brain to beat. Unlike most games that have been released in the past 5+ years, which tend to hold your hand through out the entire game. )

If you like baseball, you can probably pick up MLB the Show 09 for like $20 and this is the best baseball game on any system, ever.
If you like RPGs, go for Dragon Age

I'm not sure if I'll ever get a console. I love the games on it, however every time I try to play, I can't and get very frustrated. Being an experienced PC gamer, moving to a controller, throws me way off. Mouse and keyboard is my way...and If xbox and PC were ever to cross paths, I'll tear you up on MW2! LOL

I was going for the xbox 360, for the netflix thingy, but I'll wait until my son wants a console... He's still young yet, however I do own the Wii, and he likes that...for now..
Look at Assassin's creed 2 and 1. Both really well done games.

If that's what you're wanting it for then go for the PS3. It's more reliable, will do Netflix now and will save you $40 a year over the XBL subscription price.
infamous was also pretty good. Quite like AC2 really.
Congrats! While I can't say much about games, since I don't keep up with games in general too much...I can say that I think you'll like the PS3. I've found everything except the friends network to be superior to the 360, so I hope you enjoy what it has to offer.

DEFINITELY get Demon's Souls. And Uncharted 1 and 2.
Infamous was very good, and it's perfect at it's current price. I'd recommend it.

I didn't like the controls in the Infamous demo :| so I passed on that.
Get FLOWER and FAT PRINCESS , both are fun and quirky indy games.

All of the Ratchet & Clank games for the PS3 are excellent. Great graphics, solid, gameplay and a fun storyline.

Infamous is pretty good. It was made by the fine folks that did Uncharted... so definitely a quality game.
If you've got uncharted 2 you need to play Uncharted 1. Otherwise a whole LOT of things will not make any sense.
Obviously KZ2, UC2, and MGS4 are the PS3s heavy hitters. (Little Big Planet as well.)
Everything else you might already have on 360.
But if you preorder GOW3 now you can download the demo.

i will most likely pick up little big planet goty soon, and put money down on gow3 and heavy rain, so when do people get the demo for gow3?
Demon's Souls is a great game, but it was really hard for me to enjoy at times. Playing through the game is more like a chore. It's made me paranoid about walking near edges in any game lol :)
God of War Collection is great even if you played the originals and it also comes with a GoW3 demo key.

Old man, you must be losing your vision - Naughty Dog made Uncharted while Sucker Punch made Infamous!

Uncharted 2 is really amazing looking for a console game, same for killzone 2, really awesome played for a little.
Monday i will put money down on heavy rain. God of war 3 doesn't come out until April 1st so i will wait on that to put money down.
Should be getting $150 Gift Card soon so i will grab little big planet and something else as well :)

finally beat killzone 2 today played it like all day and loved it, next is uncharted 2 and best for last metal gear solid 4 ^_^
