Windows wants to start in safe mode

I have had my new computer up and running for two weeks. In the begining of this week I would boot it up and it would say somthing like unable to boot windows 98SE would you like to boot up in safe mode? So I let it and then when safe mode loaded I went to start then selected restart. Then it after it restared it will boot into normal windows. It has done this to me about 5 or 6 times now in the last week. Does any one have any ideas what might be wrong? Im really lost...I dont think it would be loose ram or anything because why would it boot to normal mode from safe mode? I dont know but all input would be very handy thanks.....

redduc900 thanks for the post i thought that that would help but i cant find either one of those files on my computer...wierd...so i dont know what to do im still lost
