Well, I'm not sure where to post this.
I am having some issues with Win2K.
What I am doing is using my PC as a server for an electronic catalog. The .pdf files are on my PC and I set up other PCs to use it through the network. On the PCs using Win98, I set the desktop shortcut to use the mapped drive for the 'Start in:' section(ie E:\PD_Ecat\) and use the mapped drive, directory path and the program name as the 'Target'. (ie E:\PD_Ecat\ecat.pdf)
One of the machines where I work is using Win2K and most others use Win98std, including mine.
In Win98, this works fine but on Win2K it will not allow me to enter the 'Target' as discribed above. It says the drive and path are not valid.
Is there another way to do this in Win2K?
Something I am missing?

Thanks all!

RESOLVED.............
Apparently I forgot to put in the last backslash in the 'Start in:' section
E:\PD_Ecat\
so it got confused.
