For gaming and everyday normal use do they even compare,
or does SCSI just own it?

for nromal evry day use, i'd get a real nice 7200 hdd, not raid or scsi....
scsi is too expensive for what ya get, and raid is 2 drives and to be any good, 2 x 7200 drives<-- money
but i got good news, i got WD1000JB's which are just under transfer rates of the cheetah 15k:)
wd site has more info on them, i think i picked mine up for 230? each bout a month ago

dam, $230?
See, what im considering for RAID is two 20GB seagates and they're only $67 each at newegg.
Thing is, i've never tried RAID 0 before but i've messed around with a SCSI a bit and it makes a an old PII 400 run pretty dam nice.
Basically what i want know is if anyone's had experience with both to give a good personal opinion.
Gracias for the info though.
