Hi I got a 920 CPU as xmas gift and I'm planning to buy a mobo and some memory.

My goal is to run it @ 4 GHz stable.

I read somewhere a tutorial for OC 920 and the author recommended ECC memory.

I dont know the pros and cons (take it is more fail safe but not as fast as regular memoy.. probably more expensive..?)

Can anyone recommend a good mobo that can use ECC memory and also some good (6 GB) ECC memsticks. (pref a mobo with usb3 and sata 2)

Also is it worth it to use ECC or will i get better results without ECC?

i dont think its worth getting the ecc ..

i think most people have had great results with just about every 1366 mobo .. they are all pretty solid in my opinion from what ive seen .. open your wallet and empty it out ... start putting money back in until you feel ok with the amount and we'll go from there jk'ing :D ... did anything stand out to you that you like ?? any personal preference to manufacturers ?

I agree. I have never seen any hotrod ECC memory. Have not looked for any. But you will need pretty good memory to hit 4Ghz.
