View Full Version : Anyone order from Newegg within the last few weeks?
I'm going to place a big order within the next week or so. Is Newegg still as good as their Reseller Rating? Thanks, Kent :)
You shouldn't have any problems, I have had good luck with them
and I order from them on a regular basis. I'd say give them a try.

I just ordered and received my stuff this week. Right on time and in working condition!
I ordered 2 computer cases last monday and recieved both that same week !! No problems here.

I ordered some stuff modnay of last week, but wedensday morning it hadn't shipped so they upgraded me to fedex 2day for free automatically. Got everything by Friday. Pretty sweet!
I use them almost primarily now, and have placed alot of orders for work. The only mess up was when they sent me 92mm fans isntead of 80mm once. Not a big deal, I've had much worse other places.

I used them to buy a harddrive last week. I received it 2 days later, and it works great.
I ordered some stuff sat. night and it is at step 4 waiting to be shipped out today!! I will post when it gets here:D

for anything important, I use newegg almost exclusivly now, I've probably ordered $2,000 through them so far, and not a single mix up yet, great service

It is great for the Californians, but if you live east of the Mississippi. you will wait a week or so.
Not knocking them, but why does it take 3 days to ship it CDRW?
I made an order yesterday & got part of my order packaged nicely today & expect the other half tomorrow :)
As a first time buyer from them, I recommend them & will use them again & again until proven otherwise.

Well I got the case and the XP 1600+ today the rest shouyld be here tomorow.

Well Newegg came through, got everything I ordered today. It took 4 business days, not bad. Also, everything was nicely packed.
I will use them again.

Hey that is how my order came too. I got the case & cpu the next day & the day after the board & video card.
On Thursday I got my new hard drive & dvd drive after ordering Wednesday & I'm in NY mind you so I love them :)
Everything came:D Now I have to wait for my brother to get some time. Hopefully this weekend it will be up and running.

yeah, newegg rocks. My first order from them this week: Ordered Tuesday 2/5 ~3 pm PST, got email confirmation of order that evening, it went to "step 5" the next day (Wednesday 2/6) and I got my tracking number(s) - the two packages is odd since nothing I ordered is physically large, but whatever - check the tracking numbers, and stuff will be here today, 2/8 !! lol, it is like free 2nd-day shipping. And if I had ordered earleir that first day, I would already have the stuff :D

Did you order a case & cpu by any chance? I know the case obviously comes in its own box but the cpu comes in its own box as well.

No case shipped, I picked one up locally.
I just received and checked the packages they sent. One had: WinXP CD, AS3, Xp1700+ (DAMN those bridges are T_I_N_Y), ECS K7S5A, Thermaltake shim (which I did not order??) The other had: 80mm fan grill. lol, a whole box for a fan grill. They apparently switched the 92mm Thermaltake fan I ordered for the shim, I will have to contact them to clear this up.
Can anyone say 'free shim?' I thought so... :D
