resevoir size?

when it comes to resevoir what is a good amount to be about to store? i am making this so far out of stuff laying around the house. it is kind of ghetto i guess but i think it is going to work pretty good. i just thought about using a 100 cdr spindle or a few other containers. any remarks?

Any res that fits in the space you have is fine. Even using no res and going inline is a good idea. The reservoir wont really cool the water so you don't need to worry about size. I think inline is the way to go but Its not always the easiest thing to do. Right now I am using a 4x4x4 plastic electrical box from home depot.

yeah i know but i am going to be using a submersable pump since everyone seem to have no prolem with them and they are cheaper. they have to set in water so i figured i would ask about how much extra watewr should be avaible if necessary.
