Kris elected to pass on this round. Basher is too busy as well. We need one more person to serve as team race captain. I would like to see this resolved by Sunday evening so we may conduct the drafting and get this rolling. So who's going to take the job?

What are the duties/responsiblities of the team captain?

This will be my first "race", so I don't know whats involved.

Got a baby due this weekend though... my first grandchild.... Don't feel bad my friend - I simply posted the question to see who wanted to fill in. You have quite a lot of RL affairs to handle right now.

Wookie - well this is the first race we've had with the draft style. Captains get to choose their team members similar to the nfl style drafting. Other than picking your team you can be as involved as you want - strategy and motivation to what extent there can be. You don't need to track stats or make site updates though.

I'll give this post a chance, to let eveyone see it.

If nobody else volunteers, I will do it.

Just gonna need time to check out who is doing what, and make a drafting list.

If wookie or anyone else down in the draft "pool" gets bumped up to captain and you need another person to stick in their place, you can toss me in. I'm unsure if you're trying to keep a certain number of draftees, but thought I'd toss the offer out anyway.

I was doing my prelim-checking before the drafting, and couldnt find the following users here:

Sir-Epix
Chawken
Godfodda

Could be name changes?
Using a different SETI name compared to OC.Com?

Any help would be appreciated.

my icq number is 149125003 Well actually I was thinking we should keep it down to just the captains - ICQ gets really tough to manage with more than a couple people talking to you. We'll post the results asap of course. Not to ditch anybody, but I just think it would go smoother this way...
