Don't you know about devil shoes? He collects souls from every person he can in order to design the perfect shoe! He has been at it for a while, he seems to be the only person who dosen't know that he sucks at shoe making.

I believe that it is Inet, although I could be wrong.

I don't remember signing (clicking i agree) anything at all with overclockers.com about them owning my posts. It's generally part of the forum EULA (though not always), hence my question.
Hopefully IMOG'll find this thread eventually.

Sorry guys, was out of commission for a few days when this thread was started and thought I was caught up - looks like I missed this one until now.

I cannot speak about this on a legal level, so I'll just talk from my own perspective since I have the final say on how our processes and procedures function basically.

The work and material itself is yours, you own it. You are welcome to do with it what you please and we appreciate that you've taken the time to share it here. That means you can publish your work anywhere you choose in addition to our site.

At the point your work is published here, the material belongs to the community. It cannot be deleted or removed at the request of an author unless its done in agreement with me. I'm generally an easy guy to get along with, so your wishes will be respected almost without exception. An example exception would be in the case of a disgruntled author - just as we do not delete accounts or delete all posts from the forums upon request, we will not delete all articles by a given author, and will not take away the material from the community. In all situations however, it's typically my top priority to ensure you are happy as an author - so I'll typically bend over backwards to accomodate your wishes.

All published material is copyright iNet interactive.

Let me know if this answers your question or not. If you want a real legalese answer, this is not it. I could get a real legal answer for you, if thats what you really want - I couldn't imagine we'd ever end up in that situation where we would need to know the legal position on the matter.

All material is copyright iNet interactive. Now, I know very little about anything legal, but I'm confused now.

Added published to that second highlighted part. That means people who access the site cannot copy the articles and publish them elsewhere, or they'd be violating our rights. The author maintains rights over the original material, and can do with it as they please.

So, iNet "looks over" our articles in case someone decides to steal them. I'm up for that, I don't want to deal with tracking people down over something I wrote.

No, they don't go looking. However, if someone stole the work and published it elsewhere without the authors consent and we find out about it, we have legal grounds to demand they stop being dicks.

Ok cool, that sounds like an excellent deal for the authors, it's good to know that i still own it. Also good to know that inet will beat up anybody that steals it and claims that it is theirs.
