I envy you :p

I think I might get some Kingmax PC2700 DDR 5ns... unlock my processor... water cool it then see what I can hit.

lol this is really not stable and my memory is just running at default like this :) lol i have a setting in my bios that normaly would be 133:100 meaning i could have it at 133 with my mem at 100 so i set that and then uped my fsb till i got my ram back to default lol

EDIT: also i think i will be able to get it here much eazier once i unlock it since soo many things are WAY out of spec still

Try pushing it as far as he's pushed his from stock speed, not to achieve the same speed... but the same amount of overclock. You'll have to do something.

Yeah, but you too have been out looking for more. Saw you over at Icrontic. Did you have problems getting in here today? From about 3:30 to ohhhh midnight or so could'nt get in here. Usually happens at about 3:30 A.M. or so but all day today.

Good job. Now get some permanent extreme cooling and see where it takes you. Maybe 1.9? Gets tempting.

VERY Tempting hehe i had to take it back out of the window but if i unlocked it and got some REAL extreem cooling i have no dought this thing would go to 2ghz.... could u even imagin what that benchmark would look like lol it just wouldent be fair to compare it to a p4 2ghz anymore :D:D

voltage? a friend of mine is stuck @ 1750 with his xp2000+ now hes thinking of doing a vmod....

Same here....xp1900+ stuck at 1760 (160*11)

will NOT stay stable at any higher...

it isn't a RAM problem either...If I drop the FSB and raise the multiplyer....the same limit of @1760 exists!

I'm also toying with the volt mod idea...
If I could find some of Doc's Pamona SMD grabbers and resistor LOCAL ..it would already have been done!

I checked the Radio shack grabbers and they are not the proper ones!

I don't have a Fry's local either.

ARRGGGHHHH

like i said thats not stable at that speed without extreem cooling but i thought u guys would like the benchies :) the p4 2ghz is eating my dust

EDIT: oh yeah the voltage was at 1.85v(but my motherboard gives it 1.91v)

who wouldn't be jealous of such a good overclock. good job bobt. i wish the air tempature in pennsylvania here were nice and cold, but this summers been really warm.

guess i'll just have to move to water cooling
