refering to rampage 2 extreme...

any issue with putting a GTX 280 on the bottom third pcie slot and then a 9600 GT physx card on the top slot?

I read the manual and I think that i have 32X to divide between three pcie slots so I just want to seat the cards in the best spot for cooling purposes and for bandwidth too.

RIght now GTX 280 is in top slot and 9600 GT is in 2nd slot which i am 99% sure is the best bandwidth solution but the worst for cooling as the gtx fan is staring in the back of the 9600 GT.

I want idealy to do the right thing bandwidth wise and also maximize the cooling too.

any help?

I was on the understanding the top two blue slots were x16, and the bottom one was x8

But looking at their web site it say 3 X PCIe 2.0 x16 slots.

Pop the GTX280 in the bottom slot, open cpu-z and see if it says the link is x16.
