Hi,

I am looking at a new SCSI drive for my Adaptec 29160 Card.

I have an IBM 10K U2W LVD Thornback, and a Hitachi 12K Pegasus on an Adaptec 2940U2W card on one machine, but these are a couple years old.

My buddy doesn't use his Adaptec 29160 Card so he's going to sell it to me. I've been looking around for a new drive to use with this card on my other machine, whats caught my eye is:

Fujitsu MAN3367MP (http://www4.tomshardware.com/storage/02q1/020117/index.html)

and

The Segate Cheetah X15 (http://www4.tomshardware.com/storage/01q2/010404/)

Right now I am leaning toward the Fujitsu (18GB Model)

What do you guys think?

Thanks,

-RHD

i have the fujitsu 10000 RPM ultra 160 HDD

and it runs great, but it doesn't like a high FSB

the Seagate Cheatas and Barricudas are probably top of the line

the Quantum atlas 10,000rpm is apparently faster than the Cheeta 15,000 according to a review i read - www.pcpro.co.uk

those two are the best quality and fastest Scsi Drives out now
