What is the typical minimum temperature of the capacitors in our power supplies, mainboards and graphics cards?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceramic_capacitor <-- This link has some low temperature ratings for caps. Which do our computers fall under?

Thanks.

It depends on type of caps, assuming you're aiming at the extreme oc-ing matter, then the most important and affected caps are those organic/polymer type for cpu vrm that usually are placed around/close to the cpu.

Based on "common specification" for this type of cap, most of them capable of running down to -55 Celcius, but their ESR will suffer about 25% compared running at 20 Celcius.

Hope this helps.

Actually, he's asking in relation to running computers in Wyoming when left in unheated areas. ;) :D
