Maxtor D740X-6L Info needed

I am installing 2 60gig maxtor D740X-6L onto mt KR7A_raid and i want to know if both are to be set as master and do i also set them both with cable select...

you set a drive to master if and only if it is the first drive on it's channel. Set it to slave if it is not the first drive on the channel. I usually have my HDs set as masters of their channels and CDROMs and stuff I set to slave, it is a bit faster for me that way- you could just as easily run your HDs as slaves and CDs as masters, if you wanted though.

Been years since I seen a system that need you to set a drive to cable select.
