OKay, I have two comps, one using win 95 and award modular BIOS v4.51PG, and the other is runnning win 98 and I'm not usre what BIOS it is, but on the startup screen it says BIOS ver. T6.

Okay, so my two questions are as follows:
1-In the first system, i can get into the BIOS, but can't seem to find anything pertaining to overclocking my CPU! could someone please tell me where that is.

2-On my second system I'm not even sure how to get into the BIOS at all.

Any help would be deeply appreciated. I got these systems already used, so I'm not sure of all the specs from them. OK, that'S all. thank you all very much!

This should be in General Hardware or in the appropriate platform's motherboard section.

on your first computer it is quite possible that the overclocking is done by jumpers on the motherboard rather than tweaks in the BIOS. that's my guess, especially since it has win95, i'm guessing its an older system.

on the second computer, i assum you know that you should be able to enter the BIOS on startup by holding the "del" key. if that is not the key, watch on startup to see if it specifies another key to get into "setup" or something of the sort. you probably already know all of this but i'm just giving you some ideas.

other than that, i don't know. if it is a storebought system then you will most likely not be able to overclock anyways. good luck though!

btw, this is probably better suited in Operating Systems or the forums for your specific CPU or mobo type. :)
