Bios on Kt7aRAID HELP!!!

Right i have just bought a KT7A from a friend and have tried repeatedly to flash the bios without sucsess .. it always gives the same error - file's part number does not match system.!!

so i did some investigation .. the bar code on the motherboard states that this M/B is version 1.1 HOWEVER !! the bios part number is 5s which is a version 1.3 ONLY bios so in an experiment i tried flashing with the 1.3 only bios -65 and guess what it worked but now i get blue screens and random lockups in windows ..grrrr

So How do i force flash a bios by preventing awardflash from checking the part numbers as i am sure having the 1.3 bios doesnt help on a 1.1 board !

Are you sure the files aren't corrupt some how? Have you tried like a mirror or your flash utility maybe corrupted.

Also if your board has a bios flash protection make sure its disabled.

There is no flash bios protection in the bios or on the m/b all i need to do is find a way to fool awardflash into unconditionally flashing the bios

You need Uniflash. Do a google search, and it'll come right up. It will allow you to flash the correct BIOS. It will detect the same way as Award flash, then prompt you choose to flash anyway.
