GA-EP45_UD3R M/Board ???

I am changing out my M/B to above board & Q9650 CPU. I have one question on the above M/B. Is the GSATA2_0/GSATA2_1 SATA connectors on the M/B used for external use?

I think the difference is the controllers.
G-Gigabyte SATA2 controller, the other sata's are ICH10R.

yea it is different controllers and actually the so called Giga-sata(something like that). is a jmicron controller, they are using one that will do driverless raid-0. that way you dont have to install drivers for raid card to work when installing windows. you dont even have to install drivers after wards for raid(if you didnt want to).
