Games & win XP

I’m about to upgrade from 98 to XP and would like to know if all my games are going to work on it or not. If any of you have had any major problems with XP and the following games, please let me know. Max Payne, SOF, Diablo 2, freespace 2, NFS 5, UT, Starcraft, Pharaoh, Motocross Madness 1 & 2, C&C Red Alert and Jedi Knight. I got a bunch more, but these are the ones I play the most.

Out of those, these are the ones i have played on XP:
maxpayne, SOF, NFS5, UT, starcraft. Most should work on XP though.

Pharaoh didnt want to work on mine, neither did cleopatra, tombraider chronicles, Alice didnt want to play, i was so upset, also No One Lives Forever the cd didnt want to autorun or do anything, not even install.

I havent been able to play any games any fps on xp. The driver for my vid card just keeps crashing ( Cardexperts Gforce2 2 Mx400). hope you get better results

Just get the latest drivers from Nvidia

I have had problems with only one game playing on XP, and that is MechWarriors 4. Ironically enough the game is made by Microsoft and it isn't supported by XP. I got it to work eventually though. There is also this program they have built in to help with software not supported by XP, didn't help with mechwarriors though.

Red alert has some issues with XP. You might be able to get around it though, XP has a feature that allows it to emulate earlier Windows versions - I haven't tried it though.

i had no issues with playing Red Alert 2. I just smply upgraded to the newest Nvidia driver 23.11(crap). It ran fine

I am using the 23.12 drivers, and my benchmarks went way up. Tiberian Sun works fine in XP, it's the first Red Alert that has issues.
