View Full Version : Patriot warps 128GB SSD?
hello guys someone is selling me a brand new patriot warps 128gb ssd for $200 do you guys think this ssd drive is good or not.

The warp is one of the older models, isn't it? I don't think it is bad, just are you sure it is new? Reviews from a while back show it is a good middle of the road drive. $200 is not a bad price at all. Found it on tigerdirect for $380, but to show the age, the last review was in early 2009.

yeah i was a little scare of those patriot ssd idk how they perform and ppl in newegg didn't like that much the 64gb so i guess is the same as the 128gb.

Personally I would still buy it because of the price, but I would want to make sure it was new and not something he used for 2 years and defragged every 6 months so it is now slower than IDE100.
no i actually saw the drive and it was new but i was a little scare about it

If you change your mind, put it in cyber deals. I think it is a good deal, but once the smart ones get online they should know.

It has JMicron controller. I would not take it. Read Newegg reviews, ppl are having stuttering problems.
