Own a air compressor?

This looks interesting has any one ever seen or used anything like this? I assume it would be loud so i e-mailed the company to see what the DB level is. hmm perhaps ill get one and try to make a smaller version. Anyway just thought id mention it.

Yep, I've used them. They have a loud howl to them that probably would put a delta to shame. I've used them to cool the bits on the mill, and they do get cold.
Look around before buying, some brands offer a muffler that really helps with the sound though.

Now for the drawback, they require alot of cfm. So saddly they aren't very good for home/garage compressors. They'll use about as much as a broken air line. They're really intended to be used with constant duty commercial air compressors that cost monster bucks.

Man I would love a large one, but their efficiency goes way down as the size (tube diameter) increases.

Wow, that looks cool. Only thing I think that might be a problem, is that it might blow your HS off lol.. it said it moves 35 SCFM... impressive, it looks small too. Only setback I see, is what to do with the hot air? If it is like a pelt, you don't want that heat heating up anything else...

Cool, how much are they? I couldn't see...

Edit: Daaaang... kinda pricey there lol.. kinda.. but I wouldn't go and blow that on one not knowing how it might perform on my computer... maybe if I had the cash..
