Just trying to see how high I can get it. Never tried to overclock FSB much. It gets here and will not go higher and boot to desktop. Tried raising vcore to 1.250 no go. Need some advice on what voltages need to be raised to attain higher results. Also need some advice on the setting needed for MCH Strap.

Need more Vtt...below 4.5 Ghz if you get any instability it is ussually v-core or vtt
Also your VDIMM is way too low for your RAM speed and timings, 1.65 should do the trick

PS...when going for max FSB relax your timings on the RAM a bit, it helps

These settings will not boot. Starts bios screen gets to certain point and black screen with cursor in upper left corner.

Select x16 on uncore (3568 Hz), take QPI speed off auto and select one that is just higher than uncore speeds
Bump VDIMM another notch

Raised PCI to 105v gets to desktop but lose Internet device.

Might try more VTT - sorry hardass, I have zippy experience with that particular board.

Chuck, you should be able to get much higher with a healthy bump in the PCIe speed. Overclock the bus to 112-118MHz and see what happens

my onboard ethernet craps out after 102PCIe also (on R2G though) - pick up a PCI nic and you should be good to go

Thanks for the replies, will see what happens. At the setting above system locked up after 20mins of prime. What voltage needs increasing?
