View Full Version : Need help to do a mod for a GeForce Mx card
Ok, I bought a GeForce 2 Mx card with 64 megs ram but there is no fan on these cards. I have an old set up with 2 fans on one rig for my old processor and I want to put this onto mt GeForce card. My question is what should I use to make it stay put, eg epoxy or what ever and the second question I have is can I use the power source for my cpu fan. I was just gonna splice that wire and hook up this fan to it. Will this drop the voltage to my cpu fan or is it ok.
Thanks

You could try thermal adhesive.

Sounds like it should work. I would just screw the fan to the heatsink with regular sheet metal skrews.
Arctic Alumina Adhensive is best!

Thanks Guys, I got it going now :D I just put a cpu fan on it and it fit perfect. :D I didnt need adhesives or cutting or screws or anything. It lust slipped on and fit real well :D Makes no sense to me why my Tnt2 m 64 has a fan but this has no fan. but i did it and it was my first attempt at a mod. :D now I think my next move is to put a huge fan in the top of my case. :D. I noticed that once you start doing the overclocking and mods you just can`t stop. :D hehehehe
