would running a 4650 work as a dedicated physx card alongside my 5770 or would I be wasting my time trying? I only have 2 pcie slots on this board being matx and the 2nd right now is using my wireless card, but i dont mind fishing some cable to hardline it and run a 2nd card if the output would be worth it

what do you guys think

I don't think you can use any ATI card as a physx card. I also think I heard that now nvidia has it set up so you can't use an ATI card and a nvidia card for physx either.

Not like you are missing out on much. ;)

PhysX is owned by nvidia and written in CUDA, which ATI cards do not support, you have to have a nvidia card to run physx.
For bonus points, nvidia drivers don't let you have ATI cards running in the box, either.

There is a hacked up driver for a workaround to allow ATI+nvidia for physX, i've heard it works decently.

As I understand, NVidia PhysX refuses to run if ATi card is the primary video card.

There's a decent market for 'em, it should sell pretty quickly in the classifieds.
