Quick question on my mem timings

PC running super,max temps under load 68c.
I have 3x2GB OCZ 1600V2G XMP edition. stock settings 7 7 7 16
I notice that as I OC presently at 4.0GHz blue screen due to not enough time .(ie.a clock interupt was not rcvd on a secondary processor within the allocated time)
This is easily overcome by changing to 8 8 8 24 and can get stable OC`s at 4.2GHz.
Looking at the printout from Everest am I running inthe 1600 mode?. There is still another setting in the 9 9 9 27 for 1800 .Is all this ok?
