Will this stick work on my mobo?

I'm trying to upgrade a friends PC a bit but I have a question about RAM compatability. The mobo is:-

Is this stick compatable?

The mobo can take two different types of RAM and on the specs page I posted above it says supports up to 2GB, is that a total of 2GB for the mobo or 2GB per RAM type, giving a total of 4GB for the mobo?

Sounds like 2GB per DIMM slot to me, but since they use "socket" it's kind of unclear...

The stick you linked is compatible.

I read it as just the opposite. 2gb total of ddr or ddr2. (I could be wrong )

I guess since it says "socket" I think per slot. If it said "sockets support up to 2GB" then I would think 2GB total.

Thanks for that. The PC it is for is only an office machine, doesn't really need masses of memory so 2GB will do. There is already 1GB in it.

I'll call my friend and see if he wants to risk buy a total of 4GB.
