Do SSD drives setup the same way?

I was reading some reviews and I came across one where a guy was basically explaining how they are hard to set up...? Are they like a normal hard drive, like what I'm used to, or are they really that different?

There's a sticky on SSDs here (http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=610121) that says it's about reviews, but there are a few posts about setting them up.

Not that different really. Let Windows partition/format the drive (which is what i did with HDD anyways) during the setup and it's properly aligned and ready to go.
