Right now is 35.3c-37.6c. My question is that what is the max. temp. a coppermine 933 can go?

Thanks for any reply.

I have seen where they say that a chip should not go above 45c.
I dont like to see it above 40 myself. Running where you are now I would recommend getting a better hsf. You shouldnt be above around 30c at idle, you are running pretty high in my opinion.

It should absolutely never ever go above 50C. If it gets higher than that, your computer starts becoming unstable. 45C is around where you need to be for load operating temps, 40C is ideal for the longetivity of the chip.

Is that idle or full load temperature?

Intel shouldn't be getting over 40 or around 40 like 41 or so with a good cooler and overclocked.
