I get paid tomorrow, and I'm going to get me an HD 5850. I'm going to be around a Fry's tomorrow, and they have a Diamond HD 5850 in stock. I can afford to buy an XFX or Sapphire HD 5850 off of Newegg, but not From Fry's. Their XFX card is $60 more at Fry's...ridiculous. I'd really just like to avoid waiting for it to ship from Newegg haha.

So?

Thanks

They were great way back in the day, but the last diamond gpu i bought was ten years ago.
Not because they sucked, mostly because they became more expensive and my money dried up.

I can vouch. It's a great over clocker, it runs super quiet until you manually set the fan T 100%. Great card. I love it.

Diamond has been around since video cards were invented. If you want to invest in a company that has been around for 12+ years and will probably be around for another 20, buy the Diamond.

My first videocard was a Diamond. I almost purchased a Diamond 5850 but I found a great deal on a Sapphire 5850.

I paid 289.99 + 5.50S&H for 2nd day FedEx. Much cheaper than picking one up locally for $20 more and then paying $20 tax :screwy:
