battery back ups

Okay guys,

I have decided to go out and spend the money for a battery back up for my main rig.

Which one is the best? I've seen quite a few company's pop up with them now.

make sure you get one with AVR technology

it prevents fluctuation of electricity to your components hooked up to it

and also make sure it contains enough joules

I am fond of Tripplites. They have been fairly reliable where I work. I think the office 600 is about $300.

I got an APC CS 500 and I love it. Paid about $145 for it. :)

Have you simulated a power shortage to see if it works yet? And for how long?
