There is a bios limit on the 5870 to 900mhz gpu and 1300mhz on memory.
you will be able to O/C double that with this mod


to sum it up you do
download the file from rapidsahre.

Download ati bios flash utility form techpowerup
http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1731/ATIFlash_3.79.html

put both on to a bootable usb,a, or cd

when in dos prompt type atiflash-f-p0[bios name]
Put the bios name in the bracket and remove the brackets
hit enter and you are done

if you have 2 cards one will have a 0 at the end and the other a 1

Flash cards one at a time

install after burner

This will only work with 5870 graphics card. It is legit this is straight form this Months Issue of CPU Magazine

Aren't there supposed to be a "spaces" between the f, p, 0, and bios name? atiflash -f -p 0 [bios name]

yes there are suppose to be spaces where the bios name is you would put the file that you downloaded for the bios. Then you would remove the brackets
