I don't know if this is supposed to go here or in Games, but here it goes : my birthday is this sunday, and I would like a steering wheel ! So which one should I choose ? Logitech or Microsoft ? Force Feedback or not ? My friend had some problems with his Logitech one in a game (4x4 evo2), so I'm not sure which one. But the M$ ones are more expensive, but I donno which one is better.

I have yet to meet a Logitech product that I did not like. Can I say that for Microsoft?

I have the Microshaft Sidewinder Force feedback wheel...

I can tell you that I have not had any problems with it in any games I play and the force feedback is incredible...

Set on its highest setting it feels like your driving a truck! the dang thing is strong ( the kick on it can hurt )and can take some severe abuse..(mine has seen some massive abuse while playing MONSTER TRUCK MADNESS....heh heh heh

AND, you can configure the buttons to do whatever you want to do...like assign keyboard comands to them and so on...makes for an infinite number of possible configurations.

IMHO, its the "realist" feeling force wheel out, and I've tried them all.

I used to agree to that, Logitech are less expensive and generaly equal quality... Then one time I bought a Logitech Quickcam... I found a logitech product I absolutely didn't like. Oh well, all thier other stuff rocks!!!
