Not the best drives on the market but an excellent price for backup storage.

the Hitatchi's are currently the cheapest way to get a reliable raid array going as they don't have the same problem of dropping out of raid arrays that other cheap drives tend to have. Green drives are great for some, they run perfectly in software raid, but they tend to cause headaches down the road when put into large raid arrays unfortunately.

For software raid my favorite large drives are the Samsung F2 lineup and for hardware raid my favorite drives are Hitachi currently. Western Digital comes in a close second in both categories but they tend to cost more

Both of these are great deals for great drives, however it is important to buy the right drive for your needs as each drive is better for certain markets.
