heres the sceneario...
first try:
formated the hdd, installed the driver cd which comes with my vid card, uninstalled the drivers using add/remove programs, ran detonator destroyer, uninstalled everything, keeps on going back to the default drivers..

second try:
uninstalled drivers, using device manager, removed drivers, ran det destroyer, reboot, detected a pci-vga compatible card, installed 23.11s, rebooted, checked driver version, says 23.11...
i ran a few graphic intesive apps, got low framerates... much much lower than the drivers that come with the vid card.

i have a feeling i didnt fully uninstalled the drivers. is there any way to do it manually? please help. thanks.

It's been a while since I did this but I think this was how I did it:

Boot into safe mode. Uninstall the vid card from the device manager. When you reboot, windows will dectect new hardware and you should be able to load from scratch.

You may want to wait for other replies cause I'm not 100% that this is the right way to do this...

According to the instructions in "CleanInstall":

1. First switch to a PCI VGA adapter. (Do not restart yet)
2. Delete the programs in Add/Remove Programs section in the Control Panel that are associated with your video card.(Do not restart yet).
3. Run the batch file, (CleanInstall's file deleter, or for you, Det.Destroyer))
4. Restart the computer. Windows will find new hardware.
5. Install it as a PCI VGA Adapter. Reboot
6. After your computer reboots, install your preferred drivers.
7. All Done! :)
